Graphic provided by Tankathon.comAccording to Tankathon.com, the New Orleans Saints (5-10) are currently in line to pick eighth in the 2026 NFL Draft. While that bodes well for their long-term future, in the immediate, there are still two games left to play before the offseason.
The Saints have won their last three contests in a row, eclipsing 20+ points in every game. On Sunday, they take on the Tennessee Titans (3-12), who will be picking fifth in the draft. With another win, New Orleans who secure their sixth win and most likely slide further backwards in the draft order.
There will always be those who are against having that conversation. But the reality is, a victory now could mean missing out on the potential selection of a transformational player for the franchise.
