The Saints are nearing the end of a disappointing season. With just five games remaining, they currently hold the third overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. With the playoffs off of the table for the year, there isn’t much for this team to play for. While fans never want to root for losses, the Saints receiving a top draft pick would be a nice consolation prize. 

The remaining schedule for the Saints features games against the Jets and the Titans, two teams who are competing with the Saints for draft positioning. They will be huge games to help the Saints build the team for the future.
