According to NFL Senior Insider Adam Schefter, the New Orleans Saints and legendary defensive end Cam Jordan won't be striking a deal before free agency, thus opening the door for him to leave the franchise.

Via X, he stated,

"Eight-time Pro-Bowl DE Cameron Jordan, who has spent his 15-year career in New Orleans and had 10.5 sacks last season, will not have a new deal in place with New Orleans by next week and now will hit free agency for the first time in his NFL career, per sources. Jordan will play a 16th NFL season and is said to be open to leaving New Orleans."

Even at his advanced age, Jordan can provide plenty of value to a team who's either needing a quality edge rusher to complete an already loaded roster, or a young team in search of veteran leadership to help the development of their core.
