Entering the 2026 NFL Draft on Thursday, the Saints owned the No. 8 overall pick in the first round. No matter where a team stands, whether it is trying to contend right away or still working to reshape its roster, the first round is one of the biggest opportunities of the offseason. This is typically where organizations find cornerstone pieces, and in the NFL, first-round picks are often expected to contribute much sooner than rookies in other sports. When New Orleans turned in its card on Thursday, the Saints selected Jordyn Tyson with their top pick of the draft. The star receiver broke out at Arizona State last season and will be an incredible pairing alongside Chris Olave for the Saints.
