Shough ignites Saints' rally, erasing Titans' lead with touchdown passes and Estime's game-sealing run.

The streak continued for the New Orleans Saints (6-10) on Sunday. The Saints won their fourth consecutive game in an impressive effort against the Tennessee Titans (3-13).

The Titans held a 26-20 lead midway through the fourth quarter but ultimately could not hold on to win the game.

Heading into the matchup, many were eyeballing the rookie quarterback showcase between Saints signal caller Tyler Shough and Titans quarterback Cam Ward. And while Ward may have more raw talent and skill between the two players, Shough had the better day on Sunday.

The Saints' quarterback completed 22 of 27 passing attempts for 333 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. The bulk of his damage was done by star wide receiver Chris Olave and fellow receiver Juwan Johnson. Olave caught eight passes for 119 yards. Johnson took four receptions for 95 yards.

Dante Pettis and Kavon Austin Jr. each eclipse 50 yards receiving on the day. Pettis caught three passes for 53 yards while Austin added four receptions for 52 yards.

The explosive day saw Austin and Olave reach the end zone through the air, but Audric Estime made a huge difference on the ground.

Estime's 32-yard touchdown rush with 3:54 left in the fourth quarter put the nail in the coffin for the Titans on the day. The talented running back put New Orleans up 34-26 after the run.

New Orleans' lead back, Estime, finished the day with 14 carries for 94 yards, a touchdown and a 6.7 yards per rush average.

Tennessee quarterback Cam Ward played fine but did not have the same day that Shough had on Sunday. Ward completed 21 of 40 passing attempts for 251 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He finished the game with an 88.6 rating but was sacked four times by New Orleans.

Titans running back Tony Pollard did some damage, but not as much as he has in other games. Pollard rushed 18 times for 85 yards with a 4.7 yards per carry average and a longest run of 25 yards.

Overall, the Saints defense did its job. Tennessee's leading receiver was held to 55 yards on the day.

The game was not perfect for New Orleans especially considering the Titans' struggles this seaosn. Nevertheless, the Saints were able to keep their winning streak alive and continue their surprising end of the year run on Sunday. They will look to improve to 7-10 next week against the Atlanta Falcons.
