As the undefeated Raiders prepare for a hostile home opener in New Orleans, analyst Levi Damien warns that deafening crowd noise could derail Las Vegas's momentum.

The New Orleans Saints will have an interesting test on Sunday. The Saints will take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3.

When you think about the Raiders, you probably go right to the fact that they were bad enough to secure the No. 1 pick in last season's NFL draft. This Raiders team is not the team you might expect.

Las Vegas stunned the Chargers last week and now enters the game against the Saints riding high. One writer suggests that the Raiders may be set to run into a buzz saw.

Here's what Levi Damien of Raiders Wire had to write about the team's big test ahead.

"Obviously the Raiders are feeling pretty good about their 2-0 start to the season. Especially after their big win in Los Angeles this past Sunday. But the schedule is about to get much tougher, starting with their trip to New Orleans this week.

Yeah, the Saints are a tough team. But there will be a factor outside of what they put on the field that should play a major role in the game -- crowd noise.

First of all, the Saints opened this season with consecutive road games. Which means this is their home opener. They're coming off a big come-from-behind win over the Ravens, so the Saints fans are going to be pumped.

The fans are always pretty raucous in New Orleans, but they should be at peak performance in this one. In a dome, where when they get loud, they get LOUD."

Damien appears to be concerned at the role the Saints crowd is going to play in th matchup. Certainly, New Orleans fans have turned games in their favor with loud noise during games. As for how much it will affect this game, that could be difficult to quantify.

What is clear is that the Raiders will have a battle on their hands in limiting the Saints offense and scoring on the New Orleans defense. The Saints offense showed what it could do in an explosive second half against the Detroit Lions. The defense limited the Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson to just 17 points the following game last Sunday.

The Raiders are not to be underestimated, but the Saints enter the matchup as the better team. New Orleans will hope to hold up and win to get above .500 for the first time this season.
