Some crazy outcomes could occur.

After winning in New York, all eyes are on the New Orleans Saints matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris. This week’s international game has a lot riding on it for both sides. Not even looking at the records, this is the battle between Kellen Moore and Mike McCarthy. These two have a long past, and Moore would like nothing more to prove that he is better than McCarthy, hopefully. But looking at the records and the pressure on the Saints to perform, this is a massive game.

So, let's look at four different potential outcomes for Sunday's game and how they can hurt or help this team moving forward.

Dominate Win

Let's start with the most positive outcome. If the Saints win without any doubt, controlling most of the game and keeping their lead while looking like a good team, that may buy Kellen Moore until the end of the season to prove he should be head coach. The Paris game means so much to owner Gayle Benson, and representing the Saints organization in the best way will be exactly what she wants to see.

For the team, this would mark their second win in a row, and after almost blowing it in New York, a big improvement. It could do wonders for the team's chemistry.

Significant Loss

Now on the other side. If the Saints lose in embarrassing fashion, just like they did against the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings, Benson would likely make the move to fire Moore. Changes would have to be made given how significant this trip to Paris is, and with Moore already having heat, he would be the choice. This would also likely be the best move for the team chemistry as well. A significant loss will really affect the locker room, but keeping Moore may make it even worse.

Small Win

Back to the positive outcome, a small win would buy time in Moore’s case. It wouldn't basically guarantee this season as a dominant win would, but it does give him some leeway, especially with two in a row.

Then, for the team, a pretty similar outcome. The team chemistry would likely be fine, but it would also be one bad loss away from really going downhill.

Small Loss

And then last is if the Saints just lose. This one is the outcome with the most unclear effects. If we see many of the issues we have seen all year, Benson may just make the move to fire Moore after the loss, but it may also take more.
