Never too early for power rankings.

With the NFL Draft in the books, the next phase of the offseason begins before the rookie minicamp and OTA. The Saints' draft class has been mostly praised across the NFL media landscape. It will be a while before the lights turn on or even for pads to pop at training camp, but let's take a look at the NFL power rankings from around the league circles.

NFL.com - New Orleans stays at #23

Eric Edholm is worried about injury concerns for some of New Orleans's draft class.

"New Orleans rolled the dice on some injury-risk prospects with each of its first three picks. WR Jordyn Tyson carries the most risk, but neither DT Christen Miller nor TE Oscar Delp have pristine medical backgrounds, either. That said, these are the risks the Saints tend to take in the draft, and I mostly like what they did. They buttressed those picks with some athletically gifted players late, and I bet one or two of them work out. New Orleans certainly doesn't have a perfect roster, but Kellen Moore's group played pretty well late last season and might surprise some teams early on in 2026. All of that is contingent on Tyler Shough continuing to progress, but there's some real optimism surrounding him now."

The Score - New Orleans stays ay #24

The Score is almost in lock step with NFL.com.

"Saints fans must be excited about their new receiving duo of Chris Olave and eighth overall pick Jordyn Tyson. New Orleans also picked promising third-round tight end Oscar Delp and collected two more wideouts on Day 3 to potentially add value and depth. That's the type of support second-year quarterback Tyler Shough needs. Defensively, adding second-round lineman Christen Miller makes a ton of sense, but it doesn't solve the team's pass-rush issues at the edge. Maybe a change of scenery will revive Tyree Wilson's career; the Saints traded for the Raiders' former top-10 pick Saturday."

USA Today - The Saints move up one spot to #20

"An ascending quarterback in Tyler Shough, a first-round stud in WR Jordyn Tyson and what should be a favorable schedule could render this the team that shakes loose from the typically congested NFC South pack."

The Saints should be in the business of signing veteran players to round out this roster (Cam Jordan return?). The power ranking is low, but optimism is at an all-time high and for very good reason.
