Let's do a depth chart prediction.

In free agency and the 2026 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints had a major focus on improving the offense around QB Tyler Shough and allowing HC Kellen Moore to have every chance possible to improve on 2025. Both the coach and QB improving in 2026 would set the Saints up for excellent success, and the playoffs would be a very likely outcome. Yes, the defense has taken a hit this offseason, but I would not be surprised if more moves are made on that side of the ball.

Focusing back on the offseason, because the Saints have made so many new additions, the depth chart is going to look a lot different next season. So, let's look at how much could change in 2026.

QB

1. Tyler Shough

2. Spencer Rattler

With the Saints finally having a certified starting QB again, nothing will really change. Shough is the guy, but QB2 is interesting.

Spencer Rattler is a solid backup, but teams may be interested in the third-year QB if he has a strong preseason. Still, I think the Saints are more likely to keep him.

RB

1. Travis Etienne

2. Alvin Kamara

3. Devin Neal

4. Audric Estime

The Saints staying away from RB in the draft is interesting, and although there has been some mystery in Kamara's future, I think he will stay for 1 more year. Kendre Miller is also an interesting conversation to have here. He has the talent to be a really good RB, but the Saints going in a different direction would make sense due to the injuries.

WR

1. Chris Olave

2. Jordyn Tyson

3. Devaughn Vele

4. Bryce Lance

5. Ja'lynn Polk

6. Barion Brown

There are a lot of names in this WR room right now, but I think we can already see how it is going to end. Olave, Tyson, Vele, and Lance are the top 4, and Brown is a 6th option/kick returner. Polk is an interesting spot that could be replaced by someone else already on the roster or added at a later time.

TE

1. Juwan Johnson

2. Oscar Delp

3. Noah Fant

Simple one here. Johnson is still the start, Delp is now TE 2 and a top blocker, and Fant is the third option.

Offensive Line

LT - Kelvin Banks Jr.

LG - David Edwards

C - Erik McCoy

RG - Cesar Ruiz

RT - Kelvin Banks Jr.

Most of the offensive line is already set in stone, but that RG spot is interesting. I do think that the addition of Jeremiah Wright should cause a battle for the starting, but Wright needs development, so he may not be ready yet.
