The Saints could win their second straight game.

For the second week in a row, the New Orleans Saints are facing a pretty good chance of winning. Last game was against the New York Giants led by Jameis Winston, and with their run game issues, it was a good matchup for the Saints. For the most part, it was a dominant day in New York until the blow lead, but it was still a win.

This week in Paris, the Saints will be going against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and as I mentioned, this is another good matchup for the Saints. The Steelers have a 4-2 record, but they have won against easier opponents (besides the Cincinnati Bengals) and nearly lost last week to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

So, with this being a winnable game, here are three matchups that could lead to a Saints win.

Saints CBs vs. Steelers WRs

The Steelers have had some unlucky injuries with their WRs this season, but we know who the top two guys are going to be against the Saints. DK Metcalf hasn't been consistent this year, but he's always a few plays away from taking over a game, and when looking at New Orleans CB options, Martin Emerson Jr. should be put in. Then, rookie Germie Bernard has gained a larger role in the offense, and this could be a perfect matchup for Kool-Aid McKinstry. Although it's going to be tough to deal with this duo, the Saints have the players to match up with the Steelers' WRs.

Saints Run Game vs. Steelers Run Defense

Where the Steelers are having a good season, like usual, is their defense. Pittsburgh has done really well against opposing passing attacks, so the Saints need to have their run game step up, but the Steelers have done well against the run also. Still, just like every week, the Saints must do better running the ball, and it could come down to who RG is starting. We do not know yet if Cesar Ruiz is going to play, but what we saw from Jeremiah Wright should be enough to play him, especially because of his run blocking. Kellen Moore’s offense works for with a run game, and struggles without.

We saw what it can look like last week after Alvin Kamara had his best game in two years and Kendre Miller had some great runs, but that was against a much worse run defense. A lot is riding on this matchup, especially for this offense.
