Another week, another rough showing for the New Orleans Saints.
The Saints once again looked like a shell of a once-great franchise in their 26-14 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday. While the defense certainly had its fair share of miscues, the offense was the most disappointing aspect of the game for the New Orleans Saints, minus a pair of quick touchdowns to end the second quarter and begin the third.
Unsurprisingly, it was the third-lowest offensive performance of the season for the Black and Gold, according to the latest PFF grades. Here's a look at which players were graded the highest and lowest for the franchise, with a minimum of 25 snaps played.
Olave has had his fair share of struggles to start the year, but his breakout performance against the Bears could've been enough to jump start a solid second half of the season.
The veteran wideout finished the day with five catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns, earning him an 80.8 overall grade and a 79.1 passing grade. While Olave has technically trended above average in PFF grades in nearly every game this season, Sunday marked his best score by far.
Of note, Olave did struggle a bit more as a run blocker with a grade of 60.5. He's got to be better at helping his teammates when he's not the one with the ball. Otherwise, he did everything and more that head coach Kellen Moore would want from a standout wide receiver.
Banks is just a rookie, but he's already making some solid strides and has been a solid asset to the offensive line.
The Saints' 2025 first-round draft pick has been steadily improving as the year has gone on, and his 76.2 overall grade was his highest of the season by nearly seven points. With a pass blocking grade of 77.7 and a run blocking grade of 71.2, it appears that Banks did his job well in every circumstance.
New Orleans has struggled on the offensive line since the start of the season, despite the fact that the team has been rebuilding the unit for years now. Will Banks continue to show that he can be an anchor in the trenches?
Cooks has really struggled for the Black and Gold this season, but his performance against Chicago was his worst yet.
Cooks hauled in just one catch for three yards and struggled to contribute anywhere else on the field in his team's loss. His run blocking grade of 38.8 was the lowest on the team by roughly 12 points, and he had the second-lowest passing grade with a 52.0.
Now in his 12th season in the NFL, Cooks has understandably started to slow down a bit. After years of putting up some of the most solid grades at his position across the league, the wideout is on track to have the worst year of his career. Retirement might be coming sooner rather than later.
Kamara is likely one of the most-beloved Saints of all time, but like Cooks, he's starting to have his fair share of struggles. His overall grade of 50.2 is his second-lowest grade of the year, but it's not too far from his average grade of 56.4.
The running back hasn't had a breakout performance through seven games, and in the loss to the Bears, he ran for just 28 yards on 11 carries. Kamara's passing grade of 56.2, run grade of 55.3, and run blocking grade of 60.0 put him at just about average when compared to his teammates.
However, his pass blocking grade is a sight to behold in the worst possible way. Kamara scored an 18.7 in that category, marking the third time this year that he's received a grade of 18 as a pass blocker. It was obvious from watching the game that he was routinely overpowered, so this low score doesn't come as too much of a surprise.
