The New Orleans Saints 25-19 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday was a mixed bag of just about everything: good quarterback play, costly drops and a lack of awareness in the secondary.

While certain players certainly rose to the occasion -- and went above and beyond -- others continued to let their struggles define them.

Here are the two highest-graded and two lowest-graded Black and Gold athletes in Pro Football Focus' Week 6 offensive grades, with a minimum of 25 snaps played.

    Highest: QB Spencer Rattler

Rattler had a near-perfect week per PFF grades: his score of 93.2 is insanely high, and puts him nearly 25 points higher than New Orleans' second-best performer.

Despite not having any passing touchdowns, Rattler finished the day going 20-for-26 passing for 227 yards, and he ran for 20 yards on four carries as well. PFF grades him at 91.7 for his individual passing grade and 73.8 for his individual running grade, both of which are well above average.

Minus a poor showing against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3, Rattler has consistently found himself in the low-70s on the grading scale. This big jump shows that he's got potential, but he certainly needs some help on offense.

    Second-Highest: LT Kelvin Banks Jr.

The Saints' first round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft had a solid day on the line, ultimately receiving a grade of 69.8. It's Banks' highest grade of the season so far.

Banks had one penalty on the day, but that wasn't enough to derail his performance. The rookie recorded an impressive season-high individual pass-blocking grade of 78.4, but he struggled a bit as a run-blocker with a grade of 60.1.

So far this year, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster for Banks. He's alternated weekly between putting on impressive, above-average performances and struggling in the trenches. Perhaps he can use this showing to grow even more and truly become the anchor on an offensive line that needs some serious help.

    Lowest: TE Juwan Johnson

Johnson has largely disappointed in the first six games of the season, and his showing against New England was his worst yet. His team-low overall grade of 41.1 is his lowest of the year, and it marks the second-consecutive week that he's finished with a grade in the low-40s.

The tight end caught just two passes for 15 yards and had a costly fumble in the final minutes of the game when the Black and Gold were trying to drive downfield for a go-ahead score. Johnson also didn't help much away from the ball, receiving a 54.8 grade as a run-blocker and a measly 24.0 as a pass-blocker.

The veteran tight end needs to start putting together some better performances. So far, he's been a big factor in quite a few of the Saints' losses, but didn't contribute much to their lone victory over the New York Giants.

    Second-Lowest: LG Trevor Penning

On an offensive line that had another rough showing on Sunday, Penning was the lowest-graded performer; his 44.5 grade leaves much to be desired.

After missing the first three games of the season with an injury, the left guard has struggled to get things going in his return. Penning's 27.3 pass-blocking grade highlights just how much of a weak spot he was on the line, and his run-blocking grade of 51.7 is the second-lowest on the entire team.

For a veteran who was expected to be a solid force in the trenches, it's disappointing to see just how much he's struggled to start the year. An injury can be hard to bounce back from, but Penning has to figure it out at some point.
