Seattle's defense dominated and Kenneth Walker rushed for MVP honors, securing the Seahawks their second championship and a place in NFL history. They are now the 17th NFL franchise to win multiple Super Bowl crowns.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Seattle Seahawks joined the NFL in 1976, and they had to wait nearly four decades to finally win their first Super Bowl after the 2013 season. They didn't figure they'd have to wait another dozen years to get their second title, but they did.

Still, they got it, thanks to a dominating performance on Sunday night, beating the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl XL in Santa Clara, Calif. It wasn't really that close, either, as Seattle's defense dominated and running back Kenneth Walker rushed for 135 yards. He was named the game's MVP.

With the win, the Seahawks became the 17th NFL franchise to win multiple Super Bowl titles in the past 60 years. Nearly half of the league hasn't done that. Three teams have won just one title, and 12 others have never won.
