Just four teams remain in the NFL postseason, and the Seattle Seahawks, having been one of the most consistent teams all season, appear to be in the best position to strike.
Their defense has been elite, the offense with Sam Darnold is top-tier, and they are playing at home against a Los Angeles Rams team they've already beaten this year.
Many will point to Darnold's struggles against the Rams in Week 14, when he threw four interceptions, and to his two more in Week 16 as a reason to pick L.A. But this Seattle team feels up for the fight.
Fresh off a 41-6 curb-stomping over a wounded San Francisco 49ers team, Mike Macdonald's unit will turn its attention to its division rivals for a third time in 2025.
The season series is tied at 1-1, and this is the tie-breaker, with an almighty carrot dangling in front of Seattle.
Some are doubting the Seahawks' ability to win it all, but not NFL.com's Jeffri Chadiha.
In a piece for NFL.com, Chadiha has listed why each team can win the Super Bowl, and when it comes to Seattle, he's called them the best team in it.
"The Seahawks are riding an eight-game winning streak, but they’ve been most impressive in their last four contests," Chadiha writes. " The running game has found its groove with Kenneth Walker III generating bigger numbers.
"And the receiving corps is dynamic and diversified, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba being the go-to guy, Cooper Kupp providing the championship experience and Rashid Shaheed delivering the big plays.
"Sure, it’s fair to argue that no team is a lock in a season like this. However, these Seahawks are as close as you’re going to get to that."
Are the Seahawks really the best team in the postseason?
Going off the divisional round performances, you would have to say so.
But the New England Patriots and the Rams both have their claim to the throne.
However, with the Seahawks at home, where they beat the Rams 38-37 in overtime in Week 16, maybe Seattle deserves favoritism here.
Let's not forget, either, that in Week 16, the Seahawks found themselves down 30-14 early in the fourth quarter before the Rams capitulated. I don't think Matthew Stafford and Co. will do that again.
Still, you will be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn't think the Seahawks are a legitimate chance at winning the Super Bowl.
Why? Because they might just be the NFL's best team.
