Schneider achieved a rare NFL feat: two Super Bowl titles with entirely different coaches and rosters, proving his unparalleled dynasty-building skills.

There are other NFL GM's who've won two Super Bowls - as impressive as that feat is.

But what Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider just did seems to set him up in a class by himself ... not only among his present-day peers, but maybe even among the all-timers.

The Seahawks recently secured their second Super Bowl championship under Schneider, this victory occurring 12 years after Schneider and Pete Carroll guided the franchise to its inaugural Lombardi Trophy during the 2013 season.

A great deal has changed during the time in between -but not the GM.

And that's the notable part of all of this.

Our colleague Jordan Schultz points out that Schneider is the first GM ever to win two titles with a different coach and with an entirely different roster.

Think about it: GM's with multiple rings usually do it as part of one "era.''

But here? A most remarkable aspects of how Schneider transformed the Seahawks into their current Super Bowl-winning team is that it has been a complete and total rebuilt.

Russell Wilson is gone as the QB. Now it's Sam Darnold.

Carroll is gone as the coach. Now it's Mike Macdonald.

With the passing of Paul Allen in 2018, even ownership is different.

None of this makes Schneider perfect. ... but obviously, twice now he's overseen the assemblage of a championship roster, demonstrating both consistency in what matters (each title team was a dominant defensive force) and adaptability (as rule changes have forced teams to alter philosophies.)

Consider, in the rebuild ... Schneider said goodbye to the Legion of Boom, traded Wilson, fired Carroll, traded DK Metcalf, hired a first-time head coach ... and on and on and on.

Luck is part of the formula, too, as this GM is willing to point out.

So ... what's next?

In the locker room following the Seahawks’ 29-13 Super Bowl win over New England, Schneider — was asked if he felt this team is set up to do it again next year.

“I’m not thinking about that,” Schneider said. “I’m just excited about this.”

As he should be. Because "this'' is ... from a GM standpoint - unprecedented.
