The Seahawks don't have many weaknesses, but there is one that the franchise can fix in free agency.

The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the best and most consistent teams in football this season under Mike Macdonald.

After a 14-3 regular season, playoff wins over the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle is one game away from being Super Bowl champions.

Part of the reason for that is the roster that Macdonald has constructed, you could argue, is one of the most well-rounded in football.

There aren't too many weaknesses.

The offense led by Sam Darnold averaged 28.4 points per game (ranks third), and the defense, led by just about everyone, only allowed 17.2 points in the regular season (ranks first).

So you will be hard-pressed to find a position where the opposition can go, "that's where we can get them," and that is a tough thing to do.

But that doesn't mean the Seahawks can't improve in some areas, like the offensive line.

And for PFF's Ryan Smith, one position Seattle could strengthen this offseason through free agency is center. And he thinks the Seahawks should go after Baltimore Ravens three-time Pro Bowler Tyler Linderbaum.

"The Seahawks arguably have the league’s most complete roster, which is no surprise, given they produced a league-best point differential (+191) in the regular season and are representing the NFC in this year’s Super Bowl," Smith wrote.

"One weakness the team will look to address is the interior offensive line, which ranked 28th in PFF overall grade (57.3) during the regular season. If a bidding war ensues for free-agent center Tyler Linderbaum, the Seahawks are well positioned to make a move with their ample cap space."

Having been a staple of the Ravens' offense since being drafted, Linderbaum has been a steady presence for Lamar Jackson.

With Darnold sacked 27 times in the regular season and five times in two playoff games, he appears to be getting hit a little too often.

Yes, Linderbaum would be expensive, with Spotrac.com having his calculated market value set at $17.7 million.

But getting a stout, Pro Bowl center for Darnold would be a superb move.

Not many other areas of the roster are "urgent needs," and if the chance to sign Linderbaum presents itself, the Seahawks would be doing Darnold a huge favor in getting him one of the best centers in football.
