JSN explodes while Darnold throws three touchdowns, powering Seahawks past Rams to Super Bowl berth.

The Seattle Seahawks went into their matchup on Sunday night with the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship looking to advance to their first Super Bowl since the 2014 season.

They were able to do just that, and some of their offensive stars did what they do best in the 31-27 win against their division rivals.

The leader in the game goes by the name of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, more widely known as JSN. He was named one of the finalists for Offensive Player of the Year, and he showed exactly why in the NFC title match.

The Seahawks superstar wider receiver finished the game with 10 receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown, which was absolutely the driving force in the win for the NFC West champions.

That 153 yards is the second most in a single playoff game in Seahawks history, only behind D.K. Metcalf back in 2020 in the Wild Card round against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Los Angeles took the lead roughly halfway through the second quarter with a Kyren Williams touchdown to make it 13-10.

But JSN simply wasn't having it.

Seattle marched down the field in just over 30 seconds to take back the lead before halftime, and it was due in no small part to the star wideout. He got 66 yards in the drive, 14 of which were to get into the endzone.

But none of this could have been possible with quarterback Sam Darnold, who has silenced a lot of people with this win.

He racked up 346 yards on 25/36 passing, and he was able to throw three passing touchdowns.

One was to JSN in the final moments of the first half, the second was to Jake Bobo after a muffed punt gave Seattle great field position, and the third was to former Ram Cooper Kupp.

Another special shout out has to be made when talking about the best players for the Seahawks in this game, and this time it's on the defensive side of the ball.

Rookie safety Nick Emmanwori tallied five tackles over the course of the game, and was also able to defend three passes in some big moments.

He was a big boost for Seattle's defense in his first season, and he showed why the team made a good decision drafting him in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft by performing in the biggest game of his career so far.

All of these guys will get an even bigger chance when they go up against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl on February 8.

The last time Seattle was in the big game was back in 2015 where they also played the Pats, but they will do everything in their power to make sure the outcome is different this time around.
