Horton only managed eight games in his rookie season due to injury, but now he's fully healthy and ready to pick up where he left off.

Tory Horton's rookie season for the Seattle Seahawks was cut short just as he was getting his feet under him.

Eight games, which included three starts, Horton posted 161 yards and 5 TDs from 13 receptions, and in his last game before injury, hauled in two touchdowns against the Washington Commanders.

But the injury ended his 2025 season and also saw Horton miss a decent chunk of the offseason, which, for a young player who needs all the reps he can get to build chemistry and confidence with the offense, is less than ideal.

Now, as the Seahawks' offseason moves into game mode over the coming weeks, Horton is back on the practice field and is moving rather well.

And when speaking on Seattle Sports' Bump & Stacy, Horton detailed how his body is feeling, plus the plan of attack he had to rehab this offseason.

"The body's feeling great," Horton said. "I feel like the training staff has a great plan in for me and I feel like the whole offseason was just consistency. I didn't really take any trips. I kind of just stuck to the plan with my treatment and rehab on my leg. I feel like it's kind of paid off. I'm excited to get back in for season."

With a healthy Horton, who last season averaged a crisp 12.4 yards per reception, Brian Fleury's offense gets a weapon that the unit didn't have for most of last year.

Granted, much of the work will go through Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, Cooper Kupp, and AJ Barner, but Horton could be a nice depth piece who can add another dimension to this offense.

His speed was evident last season, as was his ability to be a redzone weapon (all five touchdowns came in the redzone). Now, with another offseason under his belt, albeit a shorter one, Horton is in a good place right now.

How the Seahawks manage him over the coming weeks will be interesting given his injury history, but there is no denying that Horton is back and feeling the best he has in a long time.

And he's got the medical staff and the offseason plan to thank. Now it's time to go play football.
