Last offseason, Miller had the choice between Washington and Seattle, and it is fair to say he knows he made the wrong choice.

In life, sometimes we regret the choices we've made; other times we don't, and hindsight is a wonderful thing because edge rusher Von Miller could have played for the Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks in 2025.

After three seasons with the Buffalo Bills, it was time for a change for the veteran edge rusher, and the Washington Commanders came calling.

Fresh off Jayden Daniels' rookie season as he led the franchise to the NFC Championship game, naturally, Dan Quinn's team felt like the right move.

But we know how the season went for Washington, and while Miller still had a good season, posting 9.0 sacks, his highest return since 2021, his year could have been a whole lot better.

Why? Because speaking on the 89 podcast with Steve Smith and James Palmer, Miller revealed that last offseason he only got two offers, one from Washington, the other from Seattle.

And he knows he made the wrong choice.

"I only got two offers last year," Miller said. "One contract offer from the Washington Commanders. That's when I went and played. And, I had one offer from the Seattle Seahawks. Obviously, I picked the wrong team on that one. It would have been with three different teams with three Super Bowls. But that's just how it's supposed to be."

Miller was still productive for the Commanders, but imagine if he were on the Seahawks' roster under Mike Macdonald? His 9.0 sacks were two more than any other Seattle player last season.

Of course, there is a chance that had Miller made the move to NFC West, he wouldn't have gotten the snaps he did in Washington, with Von playing all 17 games (only started three), playing just 37 percent of the snaps.

With the Seahawks, Miller might have had a bit-part role as well under Macdonald en route to winning the Super Bowl.

Still a free agent, Miller is on the lookout for his next team, and at the ripe age of 36 and coming off the year he had in Washington, it is clear there is still juice in the tank.

Maybe one more season for Von? And could it be in Seattle? Who knows, but one thing we do know: he regrets not joining Seattle last offseason.
