Beau Stephens is seen as one player who can make life uncomfortable for several veterans this offseason.

Not much was said about the Seattle Seahawks' offensive line en route to the Super Bowl, but one player was.

And that's right guard Anthony Bradford.

For most, Bradford was a little inconsistent in 2025, and that has led some to think that his starting role in Brian Fleury's offense could be in jeopardy.

With the Seahawks taking Iowa guard Beau Stephens, there is now a chorus of people who think that if Stephens has a good offseason, he'll be pushing Bradford for the starting role in Week 1.

Now, in all likelihood, it will be Bradford who gets the nod for Fleury to begin with, and if the veteran does struggle, the Seahawks might pivot to Stephens.

And ESPN's Field Yates thinks that Beau can work well in Fleury's scheme, which could mean he's the starter at some point in 2026.

"Defending Super Bowl champions don't have many weaknesses, but interior offensive line was a position group the Seahawks wanted to address," Yates wrote. "I had a fourth-round grade on Stephens, who went early in Round 5, and he should be a hand-in-glove fit for Seattle's heavy-zone-run scheme.

"Like many Iowa offensive linemen, Stephens is fundamentally sound. He strikes with a good base supporting him, deftly uses leverage and moves his feet extremely well. I think Stephens can push for starting right guard Anthony Bradford's spot."

Bradford has already enjoyed a positive start to life as a Seahawk, as rookie minicamp was his first chance at seeing how an NFL team operates.

He also stated that he's done most of his work at right guard, with the Seahawks also seeing him as a versatile piece along the offensive line.

But for most, Stephens' best position is inside, and if Bradford doesn't bring the juice for Fleury's offense, I get the sense that it would be long before a change is made.

Now, this is all a projection as Stephens might struggle when training camp begins, and this point is moot.

But if Beau stacks good days of production during the offseason, then the Seahawks coaching staff might have a decision to make.

And the fact that multiple analysts think Stephens can push Bradford, tells me that this rookie will be seeing the field in Year 1 sooner rather than later.
