Aaron Rodgers is coming off his worst game of the season. With 21 years of professional experience, the Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback isn't worried about poor play becoming a trend.

"If the process is right, you don't have to make any major changes or freak out," Rodgers said. "It's the nature of the league. There's going to be a stinker every now and then. You just got to bounce back, get back to the things you do, get back in your routine, and try to be better the next week."

Rodgers will get the opportunity to right himself this afternoon when the Steelers (5-4) host the Cincinnati Bengals (3-6) at Acrisure Stadium. The Steelers will try to maintain their lead in the AFC North, which has been cut to one game over the Baltimore Ravens (4-5) following three losses in their last four games.

Rodgers had a season-low 50.6 passer rating in a 25-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday night. The 41-year-old completed just 16 of 31 passes for 161 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.

The poor performance raised the question of whether Rodgers is wearing down physically at just past the midpoint of the season. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says he has no concerns about the four-time NFL MVP.

"Sunday night was what it was," Tomlin said. "But I have no long-term reservations about his ability to play the position and play the position at a high level for us."

The Bengals are the ideal opponent to help Rodgers get back on track. They are last in the league in total defense, allowing 426.6 yards a game. The Bengals are also 32nd against the run and 30th against the pass.

The Steelers had 396 yards of offense against the Bengals on Oct. 16 at Cincinnati but lost 33-31. Rodgers passed for 249 yards and four touchdowns in that game, but also threw two interceptions. That wasn't enough to overcome the Bengals, who gained 470 total yards.

Rodgers matches up with another veteran quarterback in Joe Flacco, who will make his 200th career start. The 40-year-old passed for 342 yards and three TDs against the Steelers a month ago and will be making his 24th start against them in the regular season.
