The Pittsburgh Steelers face the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland in Week 4.
The Steelers arrived to Ireland on Friday, something quarterback Aaron Rodgers disagreed with.
Rodgers, 41, would have liked to landed in Ireland on Monday.
"It is what it is, but if the schedule had been a little different, if I could have chosen it, maybe we get over on Monday. Tuesday is the day off," Rodgers said during a pre-practice news conference Friday, via ESPN. "Good to get out, see some things. It's a beautiful country, it seems like, from pictures."
Rodgers enters Week 4 with 586 passing yards. He has seven passing touchdowns and three interceptions in his first season with the Steelers, who are 2-1.
Pittsburgh beat the New York Jets in Week 1, lost to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 and beat the New England Patriots in Week 3.
"I can play better, for sure," Rodgers said. "You know, it's just about sometimes you just have to take what the defense gives you and be comfortable with that. Some of our best plays is just getting the ball into our playmaker's hands and letting them go. So I just need to be disciplined like I usually am and get the ball to the guys."
One of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, Rodgers has faced the Vikings 30 times during his stellar career. He has a passer rating of 105.4 with 7,401 passing yards, 59 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
Rodgers is 17-12-1 against the Vikings in 30 starts with the Green Bay Packers and Jets.
"We're figuring it out," Rodgers said. "It hasn't been the prettiest at times. But the good thing is, our defense played the way they want to play last week and we made just enough plays to win. So at this point, it's about winning. The chemistry is there, the continuity, the belief in each other is there. It's just going out and executing."
Rodgers hasn't won a playoff game since 2020, while the Steelers haven't won a playoff game since 2016.
It will be fascinating to see if Pittsburgh makes the playoffs this season. Mike Tomlin's group enters Week 4 12th in the NFL in points per game and 22nd in points per game allowed.
