Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers came away with a win in Week 5 over the Indianapolis Colts.

The Pittsburgh Steelers came away with a strong 34-22 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5 to improve to 3-2 on the season. The Steelers were led by a strong effort from veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who completed 22 of 31 passes for 235 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

The 42-year-old is having a solid season for Pittsburgh, helping them be a competitive team and be in the mix to win the AFC North. The four-time MVP reunited with his former head coach, Mike McCarthy, who took over as the Steelers' head coach this offseason, and this has led to some great offensive performances.

This season, Rodgers is putting up quality numbers, as he's completed 59.8 percent of his passes for 1,234 yards, 10 touchdowns, and four interceptions. While he's no longer an MVP-caliber player, he is playing well and helping Pittsburgh win games.

Rodgers found many different weapons, as running back Jaylen Warren had six receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown, wide receiver Germie Bernard had six receptions for 80 yards, and tight end Pat Freiermuth had five receptions for 44 yards and two touchdowns.

While the offense played at a high level, star wide receiver DK Metcalf has still struggled to be a consistent weapon, as he had three receptions for 12 yards.

With Michael Pittman Jr. out and Roman Wilson exiting the game with an injury, Metcalf's role becomes even more important. He will need to step up his play in the upcoming games and be the star weapon that they expect him to be.

Overall, it was a strong showing for Pittsburgh's offense, including in the run game, as Warren rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries (6.7 yards per carry).

The defense was also solid for the Steelers in the win. It all started with containing Colts star running back Jonathan Taylor, and they did just that, holding him to 45 yards on 15 carries (three yards per carry).

Pittsburgh also forced Indianapolis to have an inefficient passing attack, as Daniel Jones completed 24 of 44 passes for 267 yards. The Steelers' defense had a bend-don't-break mentality, holding the Colts to one touchdown and forcing them to settle for five field goals.

It was a strong win for Pittsburgh, and they will look to improve to 4-2 in a Week 6 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
