It was a great showing against the Bengals.

After what many thought was going to be a failed season for the Pittsburgh Steelers after some very lackluster offensive showings during the first two weeks of the season, beating the Atlanta Falcons 20-13 and losing to the New England Patriots 20-3, Pittsburgh responded in a perfect way against a very good Cincinnati Bengals team on Sunday in Week 3.

Not only was this a massive win for the division, but the Bengals also look like one of the better teams in the NFL right now.

After a couple of questions about whether the Steelers were even contenders at this point, a lot of that was answered on Sunday. There are still some things that have to be figured out, but quarterback Aaron Rodgers looked great, the offense did what it had to do, and there was a lot to like.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Rodgers talked a lot about how the overreactions over the past couple of weeks have been whatever. He doesn't seem to be too upset about them or giving them much mind, but he also wants to make it known that overreactions shouldn't be made after scoring 30 points. He still believes that his team has a lot to work on, and when taking on different teams, there are going to be other challenges that come up.

“There’s overreactions when we put up three points and look like dog… you know what,” Rodgers said, per The Athletic.

“We had a nice game today. We put up over 400 yards and 30 points, and it could have been a lot more. But every week is a different week, different challenge, different opponent, different defense. We’ve got to be critical of some things. There’s a lot of things to clean up. We had some drops, had some (missed assignments), but I thought it was a tighter week for us mentally, as far as execution-wise.”

This is the right mindset for Rodgers and the Steelers, as they seem to be a polarizing team at the moment who can win at any given moment, but also lose to anybody.

Because of that, I do have my fair share of skepticism about whether Sunday was the best we were ever going to see the team, or if this is the Steelers team that we can expect to see for a lot of the season.
