Home turf felt like a road game for Tampa Bay as Pittsburgh supporters forced a silent count, fueling a comeback win that left Tristan Wirfs frustrated.

Coming into the game with a 1-4 record, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn't get the type of backing from their crowd a home team would typically expect when they hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6 on Sunday.

A crowd of 64,660 came to watch the Steelers play the Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium. It was clear the crowd was more excited in the fourth quarter when Pittsburgh made a comeback before sending the game to overtime. The Steelers would leave Raymond James Stadium with a 26-19 win, much to the delight of many in attendance.

Per JoeBucksFan.com, Tampa Bay offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs said after the game that he didn't blame Buccaneers fans for not being overly supportive of the team at home amid what is now a shocking 1-5 record for a team that was a favorite to win the NFC South before the season.

Wirfs said the Buccaneers offense was forced to use the silent count because of the crowd noise from Steelers fans. Tampa Bay dropped to 0-4 at home. The Buccaneers’ lone win came at the Dallas Cowboys on "Thursday Night Football" in Week 5.

In contrast to the Buccaneers, the Steelers made progress under first-year head coach Mike McCarthy. Sunday's win was the first for the Steelers on the road this season. Pittsburgh suffered a 27-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns on "Thursday Night Football" in Week 4. In Week 2, the Steelers looked out of sync in a 20-3 loss to the New England Patriots.

The Steelers won't play another home game until Nov. 1 when they host the Browns. Pittsburgh will next travel to play the New Orleans Saints in Paris. That game will have a curious element given the protests in the city.

Steelers defense is looking much better.

The Steelers defense was the star of the comeback on Sunday, recording two interceptions of quarterback Jalon Daniels in the fourth quarter. Given the inconsistent play of the offense, Pittsburgh will need to rely on its defense to win games.

The feisty defense showed up in a big way after the offense only managed to put up three points before the fourth quarter. The offense did just enough when the game was on the line in overtime.

The Saints offense should provide a better challenge for the Steelers than what the Buccaneers showed on Sunday.
