The Pittsburgh Steelers won the AFC North this season, but they once again had a short playoff run.
Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers lost to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round at home.
A few days later, Mike Tomlin stepped down as head coach.
For the first time in forever, the Steelers are looking for a new head coach and NFL analyst Moe Moton of Bleacher Report believes the franchise needs to hire an offensive-minded guy.
"Though Pittsburgh has succeeded under Tomlin, who has a defensive background, the organization must focus on offensive development, and that starts with hiring an innovative play-calling head coach," Moton wrote. "Pittsburgh should favor offensive coordinators to handle the tough task of remolding its offense."
There is so much uncertainty in Pittsburgh right now. Not only does the franchise need a head coach, but they also need to figure out the QB position.
Rodgers, 42, becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason and multiple reports have stated that the future Hall of Famer won't return to the Steelers after Tomlin's departure.
A four-time MVP, Rodgers finished with 3,322 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns and seven interceptions this season. He completed 65.7% of his passes.
After Tomlin stepped down as head coach, Rodgers and T.J. Watt cried, according to Mike DeFabo of The Athletic.
It's worth mentioning that Steelers players want Rodgers back, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The Steelers have begun their search for their new head coach, with candidates now in the in-person interview process. Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores met with Pittsburgh on Tuesday in-person.
The Steelers have already completed virtual interviews with Ejiro Evero, Klay Kubiak, Jesse Minter, Nate Scheelhaase, Chris Shula and Anthony Weaver.
