Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers shared his thoughts on running back Kenneth Gainwell.

The Pittsburgh Steelers came away with a major win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 15, improving their record to 8-6.

The Steelers have played well this season and are in position to win the AFC North. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been a major reason for Pittsburgh's success. However, he couldn't do it without his weapons.

Free agency addition Kenneth Gainwell has been a steal of a signing. The 26-year-old has been effective as a rusher and receiver.

"I love playing with him. He’s as smart as they come. I still can not believe what we got him for. I told him a long time ago my goal was to get him paid," Rodgers said about Gainwell.

On the season, Gainwell has rushed for 451 yards and four touchdowns on 93 carries (4.8 yards per carry). He has also hauled in 57 receptions for 332 yards and two touchdowns.

He has been one of their best offensive weapons, helping Rodgers have a great season at 42 years old. Rodgers has completed 66.8 percent of his passes for 2,594 yards, 22 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. The four-time MVP has also rushed for a touchdown.

In the final three games, the Steelers will lean on Rodgers and Gainwell to continue the offensive success.

Pittsburgh is in first place in the AFC North, but has a difficult matchup in Week 16 against the Detroit Lions. The Lions at 8-6 are fighting for their playoff lives, making this an important game for both teams.

The Steelers hold a one-game lead over the 7-7 Baltimore Ravens in the division, and everything will come down to the final three weeks.

Pittsburgh could clinch the division by winning in Week 16 over the Lions and in Week 17 over the Cleveland Browns if the Ravens lose one of their matchups against the Baltimore Ravens and Green Bay Packers.

However, the division title and playoff berth may come down to the Week 18 matchup between the Steelers and Ravens.

Pittsburgh will look for Gainwell to continue being a key piece for the offense as they make their playoff push.
