The Pittsburgh Steelers are 4-2 this season and sit atop the AFC North, but while they have mostly played well, it's pretty clear that they have some glaring holes.
The Steelers have obvious needs on both sides of the ball. They need a wide receiver, and their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last week proved that their defense has serious issues.
Luckily, Pittsburgh still has between now and the trade deadline to rectify some of those problems, and Mike DeFabo of The Athletic has laid out some potential plans in Steel City before Nov. 4.
"There’s a feeling inside the Steelers building that they want to do everything in their power to give [Aaron] Rodgers a legitimate chance to make a run this year," DeFabo wrote. "It would almost be surprising if they don’t find a trade partner in some form or fashion."
That doesn't just entail finding more weapons for Rodgers. It should also mean patching up their secondary and maybe even finding a linebacker.

Pittsburgh added Rodgers, D.K. Metcalf and Jalen Ramsey during the offseason, making it clear it wanted to go all in on 2025.
The problem is that the Steelers also traded away George Pickens, leaving little to no wide receiver depth behind Metcalf. Further compounding the issue is that Calvin Austin III has been sidelined due to a shoulder injury, although he appears to be working his way back.
And for a franchise that has historically prided itself on hard-nosed defense, Pittsburgh has been anything but stout on that side of the ball this year, ranking 28th in the NFL in yards allowed.
The Steelers are fortunate enough to be playing in a division that has been surprisingly awful this season. The Baltimore Ravens, who were the favorites to win the AFC North heading into the year, are just 1-5, the Bengals are without Joe Burrow and the Cleveland Browns are, well, the Browns.
Taking that into consideration, Pittsburgh should actually be able to win its division as currently constructed, but in order to make a serious push for a Super Bowl, the Steelers will definitely have to fix some of their holes.
Pittsburgh will face the Green Bay Packers this Sunday.
