Steelers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling spoke about Aaron Rodgers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers came away with a significant win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday night, improving to 8-6 on the season. The Steelers remain in first place in the AFC North, ahead of the 7-7 Baltimore Ravens.

In the Steelers' win, quarterback Aaron Rodgers connected with former Green Bay Packers teammate Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a 19-yard touchdown.

"I think he's the best quarterback to ever play this game. If he's 65 years old, he can still spin the ball," Valdes-Scantling said about Rodgers after the game.

This is major praise from Valdes-Scantling, who was with Rodgers in Green Bay from 2018 to 2021. He was there during Rodgers' back-to-back MVP seasons in 2020 and 2021, and the 42-year-old quarterback is still playing at a high level.

On the season, Rodgers has completed 66.8 percent of his passes for 2,594 yards, 22 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

That included a masterful performance for Rodgers against the Dolphins in Week 15, as Rodgers completed 23 of 27 passes for 224 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Pittsburgh's offense has looked better of late, as they have brought in veteran receivers that Rodgers can trust alongside their star wideout in DK Metcalf. Valdes-Scantling and Adam Thielen are two players the quarterback can trust, despite not being stars anymore.

Metcalf is the leader of the receiver room, as he's hauled in 55 receptions for 808 yards and six touchdowns. The 28-year-old has seen a higher volume lately, leading to explosive plays for the Steelers' offense.

Pittsburgh will need its offense to continue playing at a high level down the stretch. With just a one-game lead over the Ravens, every game is crucial to win the division and earn a playoff spot.

It will start on the road as the Steelers take on the Detroit Lions in Week 16. The Lions are fighting for their playoff lives at 8-6.

This will be a matchup of two teams that need every win they can get down the stretch. Rodgers and Valdes-Scantling both have a ton of experience taking on the Lions, and they will look to lead the Steelers to a major victory.
