The Pittsburgh Steelers had their best offensive performance of the season in their win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers woke up in a Week 3 divisional matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, coming away with a 30-27 victory.

The offense finally showcased its potential with Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy back together after spending years together with the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers completed 19 of 34 passes for 292 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception.

The interception wasn't on Rodgers, as the ball went right off of wide receiver Roman Wilson's hands, tipping up into Jordan Battle's hands.

Rodgers found many different weapons, with tight end Darnell Washington catching three passes for 67 yards. Wilson had a solid game, minus the drop that turned into an interception, as he had three receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown. DK Metcalf and Ben Skowronek each caught a touchdown as well.

In the run game, Jaylen Warren had a great performance, rushing for 127 yards on 17 carries, while also contributing as a receiver with three receptions for 49 yards.

The offense was effective against a Bengals defense that played at an elite level in the first two weeks of the season, led by trade acquisition Dexter Lawrence. Lawrence made his presence known again with two sacks, but Pittsburgh did a better job protecting Rodgers overall.

On defense, the Steelers didn't do a great job against the talented Cincinnati offense led by Joe Burrow. Burrow completed 28 of 37 passes for 282 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins torched Pittsburgh's secondary as they combined for 15 receptions for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Although the Steelers couldn't get stops in the passing game, they forced two turnovers, recovering fumbles from Burrow and Ke'Shawn Williams.

It was a pivotal win in a divisional game, which could loom large later in the season in the battle for the AFC North.

Steelers Week 4 Preview

Pittsburgh has another divisional game coming on Thursday as they take on the 2-1 Cleveland Browns. The Browns have surprisingly been competitive, starting the season with wins over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers.

Cleveland has a talented defense despite trading away Myles Garrett, and their offense has improved over the last two weeks with Deshaun Watson playing at a higher level.

The Steelers need to be prepared for a tough divisional atmosphere on the road as they look to improve to 3-1 in McCarthy's first season as the head coach.
