The Las Vegas Raiders are in a somewhat tricky situation with wide receiver Jakobi Meyers.

Meyers has been on record multiple times stating he wants to be traded, even requesting a trade during the offseason. Unfortunately, for his sake, it never happened, but it looks like it's possible it could happen this trade deadline.

Among the teams that are expected to have interest, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers have called on the star.

"The Raiders have fielded calls from the Steelers and Bills on WR Jakobi Meyers, but Las Vegas has set a high price. Pittsburgh is looking at other wide receiver options, too," Russini wrote.

According to Russini, the price tag for Meyers might be high, but it's also important to note some of his previous comments, which could help Pittsburgh in the scenario.

While the Raiders won't give up Meyers for nothing, if he doesn't want to be there and makes that as evident as he has, or continues to do so over the next two days, they might have no choice but to move on from him at some point.

"[The Raiders] know how I feel," Meyers said last week. "It's no reason for me to keep going back crying to them, 'Can you get me out of here?'

"If you move me, you move me. But in the meantime, I got some [teammates] that I care about next to me, so I'm trying to make sure I'm being my best self for them."

Meyers has had a down year by his standards, yet to score a touchdown.

With 329 yards on just 29 receptions, it's very possible that he could be a much better fit in a different offense.

Unfortunately, the Raiders' offense has been one of the worst in the NFL under Pete Carroll and Geno Smith, which comes as a surprise.

Despite Smith not being an elite quarterback by any means, he typically is able to put up some passing yard stats here and there.

That really hasn't been the case this season, and Meyers has suffered because of it.
