PODCAST: C.J. Stroud Finally Erupts as DeMeco Ryans Takes Control Before Titans Showdown

The Houston Texans are 0-4, but their latest loss looked completely different from the first three.

On this episode of the Texans Roundtable, Halk breaks down C.J. Stroud's best performance of the season after throwing for 347 yards and two touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys. Nico Collins immediately changed the offense in his return, while Jaylin Noel and Woody Marks also gave Houston reasons to believe this group is finally starting to come alive. The problem? Houston still lost 34-30.

That leads to the biggest development of the week: DeMeco Ryans is taking over defensive play-calling himself. Halk explains why that move matters, what it could mean for Will Anderson Jr. and the pass rush, and why communication has become such an important issue for a defense loaded with talent.

We also discuss Tank Dell returning to the practice field, the latest injury developments and what his eventual return could mean for Stroud and the Texans' receiving corps.

Finally, we preview Sunday's 0-4 showdown against the Tennessee Titans, including Cam Ward, Carnell Tate, Robert Saleh's connection to Ryans and several betting angles worth watching.
