It’s a Week 4 must-win for the Houston Texans in a divisional game against the Tennessee Titans, kicking off at 12:00 p.m. CST on CBS. Although the Texans should have the upper hand in this matchup and enter as the clear favorite, nothing is a given in the NFL.

Let’s break down the three things to watch for.

Containing the Rookie QB

Cam Ward was the No. 1 overall pick by the Titans for a reason. He absolutely has franchise quarterback upside. He’s shown flashes early, but he’s still a first-year player who can be schemed against and intentionally limited. The thing to consider is that every great rookie quarterback, if he’s truly going to be the guy for his franchise, has a breakout game in his rookie season. The team may not win a lot of games, but at some point, there’s a performance that makes you really believe that he's the future. That could happen any given week, and for the Texans to avoid falling to 0-4, they need to make sure this isn’t one of those games.

Finish Drives in the Red Zone

It’s no secret at this point — the Texans just haven’t been able to find the end zone. They’ve had plenty of success crossing midfield and even getting into the red zone, but those drives keep stalling out into field goals. In fact, two of Houston’s three losses so far were essentially one touchdown away from being wins or pushing to overtime. That’s the difference between 0-3 and 2-1. Simply put, this offense needs to finish drives and finally start punching it in.

Maximize What’s Left in the Secondary

The Texans’ secondary is depleted, and that’s a serious concern. While the Titans aren’t known for having an elite passing attack, they do have some intriguing receivers. With Cam Ward capable of making big throws, even one or two busted coverages could flip this game. Especially with Derek Stingley Jr. sidelined, Houston has no margin for error in the back end. How well this group holds up could ultimately decide whether the Texans climb back into the season or fall into a hole too deep to escape.

Again, this matchup will kick off at 12:00 p.m. CST on CBS, as the Texans host the Tennessee Titans at NRG Stadium.
