Following their first win of the season, the Houston Texans have now made a trade. In a Monday morning move, Houston dealt offensive tackle Cam Robinson to the Cleveland Browns in what is being reported as a late-round pick swap in 2027.

For Cleveland, this is a move to bolster a depleted offensive line. The Browns recently lost starting left tackle Dawand Jones to a season-ending injury and their right tackle Jack Conklin has also missed time recently with an injury of his own. So bringing in someone like Robinson, even at his salary, is a worthwhile move.

The Texans signed Robinson to a one-year, $12 million deal this offseason, but things haven't gone as planned. He was an inactive in Houston's Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans, but he'll get the chance at a fresh start in Cleveland.

Especially with the Texans hoping to bring back some players from injury designations in the near future, this also opens up a valuable roster spot.

So for both the Texans and Browns, this seems like a great move. Both teams have struggled to start the season, but will look to turn things around moving forward.

Next up for the Texans is the Baltimore Ravens on the road, which will be against another 1-3 team, but one that certainly feels more talented than its record would suggest. That will serve as Houston's chance to win a second consecutive game and get one step closer to .500 as a long road to saving the season begins.
