Despite Tony Pollard’s dominant two-touchdown performance, Cam Ward’s persistent turnovers and a lethal Cleveland air attack spoiled Tennessee’s bid for their first consecutive wins since 2022.

The Tennessee Titans haven't won consecutives since the 2022 season.

They had a chance to do that on Sunday, when the Cleveland Browns came to Nissan Stadium.

It was clear what the Titans wanted to do on offense. They prioritized establishing the run. Tony Pollard went to work early.

He scored on the Titans' opening drive with a 36-yard touchdown run. The defense then gave the Titans the ball back.

K.C. Concepcion had 129 receiving yards. Watson had over 200 passing yards and one interception.

While the running game worked well for the Titans, Cam Ward's interception streak continued. He threw an interception in the second quarter, which means he's now thrown one in each of the last five games.

The Browns almost scored three touchdowns in the second quarter, but were held to a field goal to go into halftime up 17-14.

Cleveland got the ball back to start the second half, and the defense really needed a stop, or things were about to go from bad to worse.

The Titans faced another third-and-long situation and somehow converted. Ward threw a dime to Tate, who made a toe-tapping catch just before the end zone.

After an earlier review denied him a touchdown, Pollard got his hat trick. The Titans gave him the ball on the one-yard line, and he dove into the end zone to tie the game at 24.

The problem was that the Browns had just under a minute to score with three timeouts left. The Browns had already had multiple game-winning drives in 2026, led by Watson

It was up to the Titans to keep another from happening. Unfortunately, they couldn't.

Watson found tight end Harold Fannin Jr. over the middle to put the Browns in field goal range. Szmyt drilled the game-winner as the Titans fell to 1-6.

Pollard couldn't do enough to will the Titans to a win. With the loss, the Titans now tie the Browns for the longest drought without consecutive wins in NFL history, at 65.
