Fresh off a last-place finish, Tennessee capitalizes on a favorable SOS and a massive roster overhaul as Robert Saleh prepares to lead a revamped squad in Nashville.

After finishing at the bottom of the AFC South for the second year in a row, the Tennessee Titans' schedule is going to reflect it.

The Titans are obviously splitting their divisional games at home and on the road. There is going to be a Robert Saleh reunion with the New York Jets at Nissan Stadium.

Saleh was the head coach of the Jets from 2021-2024. He was fired halfway through the 2024 season

Tennessee is also facing the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Commanders at home.

The non-divisional games on the road include the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Titans' strength of schedule ranked 25th (.476) in the NFL. The metric is based on the opponent's winning percentage from last season.

There are a few rematches taking place.

The Titans played the Raiders and Browns. Las Vegas was actually the game that got former head coach Brian Callahan fired. Amy Adams-Strunk parted ways with the head coach after the 20-10 loss.

This strength of schedule is beneficial to the Titans, who still are yet to be a complete team even after the additions they made in free agency and the 2026 NFL Draft.

Tennessee had the most cap space in the NFL, and made sure to put it to good use.

The Titans' biggest additions were Wan'Dale Robinson, John Franklin-Myers, Alontae Taylor and Cor'Dale Flott.

Ohio State receiver Carnell Tate, Auburn edge rusher Keldric Faulk, Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., Arkansas guard Fernando Carmona, Penn State running back Nicholas Singleton, Baylor defensive tackle Jackie Marshall, Indiana center Pat Coogan and Oklahoma tight end Jaren Kanak joined the team from the draft.

Regardless, the Titans were still one of the worst offenses in the NFL. The Titans had the fourth-fewest passing yards (190.6), third-fewest rushing yards (93.5) and third-fewest points per game (16.7) last season.

On top of that, Cam Ward was one of the most-sacked quarterbacks in the league. The Titans allowed the sixth-most sacks (56) in the NFL in 2025.

It's safe to say this team needs all the help it can get. Luckily, the Titans have a favorable schedule before Saleh begins his first season as head coach in the Music City.

It will take a lot of work for this team to improve after consecutive three-win seasons.

The NFL schedule release will be Thursday at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN and NFL Network.
