Baltimore faces a mounting crisis in the trenches, turning to a rookie center while injury concerns linger for stars Zay Flowers, Ronnie Stanley, and Trey Hendrickson.
The Tennessee Titans have their own injuries to worry about, but the Baltimore Ravens have it even worse.
For the Titans, they are already going to be without right guards Fernando Carmona and Jackson Slater. Carmona exited Week 3 with a serious ankle injury and will be out for the next few weeks.
Slater replaced him and sustained a significant foot injury in the process. Both are now on the injured reserve, so they'll miss at least the next four games.
On Friday, the Titans cleared John Franklin-Myers (back) and Tony Pollard (foot) to play. Tyjae Spears (ankle) and Kevin Winston Jr. (shoulder) are questionable and will be game-time decisions.
The Titans could be without another starter if Winston doesn't play. The Ravens will already be without two starters and could lose more.
Massive free-agent signing Trey Hendrickson is missing the game with a finger issue. The Ravens quickly signed Hendrickson after the trade with Maxx Crosby fell through.
The Ravens signed Hendrickson to a four-year, $112 million contract per Spotrac. Hendrickson has played in all three games so far, recording four tackles, four TFLs, and one sack.
Much like the Titans with their right guard issues, the Ravens have a problem brewing at center.
Starter Jovaughn Gwyn is out with an ankle injury. Gwyn's backup, Ethan Pocic, was also ruled out on Friday with a knee injury. The Ravens will have to trust rookie offensive lineman Vega Ioane.
There are also injuries looming with receiver Zay Flowers and offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley.
Flowers sustained a hamstring injury in Week 2 and was listed as questionable on the Ravens' injury report.
He was limited on Wednesday, then became a full participant on Thursday before returning to limited status on Friday. His status is uncertain, and he will be a game-time decision.
Stanley missed the Ravens' game in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, due to a toe injury. Stanley was limited on Wednesday and Thursday. The Ravens gave him a rest day on Friday, and he is also questionable for the game.
Former Titans receiver Chris Moore is now with the Ravens and is also questionable for the game. He's played in three games so far with two starts.
Moore is dealing with an ankle issue ahead of the game.
As we saw last week, the Titans will need more than a few injuries on the opposing team to win. The Titans couldn't beat an injury-riddled New York Giants team in Week 3.
The Titans will need to play their best football to even have a chance on the road. The Titans and Ravens meet in Week 4 this Sunday at noon CT on CBS.
