Despite recent franchise struggles, Tennessee’s elite talent remains undeniable. Discover which stars are poised to claim their national spotlight.

Even after the Tennessee Titans just had one of the worst seasons in franchise history, there's still a chance a player or two will be on the NFL Top 100 list.

If you want to include the history of the Houston Oilers in the conversation for the worst season in the franchise, you absolutely can.

The Oilers won one game in 1972, 1973 and 1982. The Oilers then won two games in 1983 and 1994. However, if you're talking about the Titans, the last two seasons are up there for the worst seasons ever.

There was 2014, when the Titans won two games under former head coach Ken Whisenhunt. Still, it's rare for a team not to make any improvements for two consecutive years.

The NFL Top 100 list comes out every year and highlights the best players in the league. Saquon Barkley came in at No. 1 last year, with no Titans players making the cut.

This year, I think we could see at least three different Titans players featured on the list. This year's edition comes out on June 22.

Here are the three most likely candidates, including some players just on the cusp:

Jeffery Simmons

Jeffery Simmons is the obvious choice after the kind of season he had in 2025.

Despite the Titans' pass rush being wildly inconsistent for most of the year, it wasn't because of Big Jeff. He racked up 67 total tackles, 11 sacks and 17 TFLS, making his fourth Pro Bowl.

After doing that without much help, he now has help in the form of John Franklin-Myers, Jermaine Johnson and Keldric Faulk.

He could be on the list again in 2027 if he blossoms in Robert Saleh's system.

Tony Pollard

Tony Pollard deserves way more respect than he's currently getting around the league.

He just wrapped up his second consecutive 1,000-yard season with the Titans in 2025. Like Simmons, while the rest of his position group struggled, it wasn't his fault.

Pollard and Derrick Henry are the only players to rush for 1,000 yards in the last four seasons. That has to be worth something, and I think we'll see him crack the list.

Peter Skoronski

Peter Skoronski comes off the best season of his NFL career so far.

He had a 96% pass-block win rate, and the Titans rewarded him by picking up his fifth-year option. The Titans' offensive line still let up the sixth-most sacks in the NFL last season (56), but Skoronski was one of the few bright spots.

I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the list.

Longshots

Wan'Dale Robinson

This one may be more of a stretch, especially since he hasn't played his first snap for the Titans just yet.

Robinson just had the first 1,000-yard season of his career. Being able to put up those numbers after losing Malik Nabers is impressive, especially with the extra attention he got from opposing defenses because of it.

I would be shocked if Robinson makes it, but if he recreates those numbers with the Titans this season, he could be on the list next year.

John Franklin-Myers

Once again, this another guy who hasn't play a down for the Titans yet.

However, Franklin-Myers could be on the edge of making the list this year. He just recorded a career-high 7.5 sacks with the Denver Broncos in 2025 as an interior defensive lineman.

There is a short list of defensive tackles who are that efficient in sacking the quarterback, and Simmons and Franklin-Myers are two of them.

We'll see how much the NFL favors him when the list is released.
