Armed with explosive weapons like Nicholas Singleton and the offensive mentorship of Brian Daboll, Tennessee's young signal-caller is primed to transform late-season flashes into a dominant 2026 campaign.

The Tennessee Titans have a very exciting corps of players for quarterback Cam Ward to work with on offense.

Tony Pollard is set to return as the main running back, with promising rookie out of Penn State, Nicholas Singleton, now added to the mix. If Singleton is anything like the player he was in college, the Titans have another explosive weapon on their hands.

Singleton had the most touchdowns (55) and fourth-most career rushing yards (3,461) in program history at Penn State.

At receiver, the starters are projected to be Calvin Ridley, Wan'Dale Robinson and Carnell Tate. Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor are going to be good reserve players at the position.

Dike offers more than just a gadget player at receiver. He is a threat in the return game. He made the Pro Bowl after scoring two punt return touchdowns last season. Dike can take a punt or kickoff to the house and flip the field for the offense, giving them great field position.

On top of that, the Titans have a dynamic playmaker in Gunnar Helm at tight end.

Ward showed that he doesn't need a great cast of characters to make plays last season. With Ridley, Van Jefferson, Tyler Lockett, Dike and Ayomanor as his main receivers in 2025, Ward still made some incredible throws.

He finished with 3,169 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Now, he's working with head coach Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. Like Saleh, Daboll also has head coaching experience. He was the last HC of the New York Giants.

Daboll's calling card is working with young quarterbacks like Josh Allen when he was the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills. Daboll has another promising young quarterback, and PFF's Bradley Locker believes a breakout year is coming for the former Miami Hurricane.

Locker had Ward as the quarterback on his NFL All-Breakout Team for 2026. If you looked at Ward's number from the first half of the season, it wasn't very hopeful.

However, Ward showed a lot of promise in the second half of the season, and that's what Locker is banking on. He believes that Ward has many more weapons this time, which will greatly benefit him.

"Ward’s rookie campaign didn’t go quite as expected, finishing with a 56.4 PFF passing grade and more turnover-worthy plays (23) than big-time throws (21)," Locker said. "Yet Ward showed real flashes, including compiling three games with at least a 78.7 overall PFF grade in Week 12 or later. Plus, Ward’s receiving corps earned just the 27th-best PFF receiving grade. The circumstances are now significantly better for the former No. 1 overall pick going into his second season. Ward has two major assets at receiver in No. 4 selection Carnell Tate as well as former Giant Wan’Dale Robinson, who can help attack every area of the field. Add in new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, and the pieces should be there for Ward’s sky-high talent to consistently materialize."

It was clear that the Titans wanted to help Ward out this offseason. Now, it's time to see if those additions were enough to pull this team from the depths of 3-14 and emerge as a playoff contender.
