The Tennessee Titans just completed their first draft of the Robert Saleh era this past weekend.
After missing on Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, the Titans needed to pivot. They did so with the next best offensive prospect on the board in Ohio State receiver Carnell Tate.
Then, the Titans traded back into the first round to get Auburn edge rusher Keldric Faulk. Tennessee didn't have a second-round pick, but got one fairly quickly after seeing a player they really liked still on the board.
After trading with the Chicago Bears, the Titans were back in the second round and took Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr.
Tennessee had multiple picks in the fifth and sixth round, taking Arkansas guard Fernando Carmona, Penn State running back Nicholas Singleton, Baylor defensive tackle Jackie Marshall and Indiana center Pat Coogan.
The Titans closed the book on the 2026 NFL Draft with Oklahoma tight end Jaren Kanak.
All the picks were made with the Titans' needs in mind heading into the draft.
Tate gives the team a potential No. 1 WR that fits Cam Ward's strengths in throwing the deep ball. Tate is a true deep threat and has an elite route tree.
Faulk helps the team out at edge rusher with a player who can be moved around to multiple positions on the defensive line. Hill fills that coveted middle linebacker role that Saleh has been hoping for.
Carmona and Coogan give the Titans players who can compete for starting jobs, according to General Manager Mike Borgonzi. If Nicholas Singleton can recover from the broken foot he suffered at a Senior Bowl practice, he could be a steal in the draft.
Marshall's time as a linebacker could do him some good at the next level. His speed at interior defensive line is something to watch. Kanak's speed makes him an interesting prospect at tight end for the Titans.
On Thursday, Tennessee made a big announcement regarding its rookies. The jersey numbers for all rookies were announced on the team's X account.
Tate is No. 14, Faulk is No. 15, Hill Jr. is donning No. 53, Carmona will be No. 66, Singleton is taking No. 32, Marshall will be No. 96, Coogan laid claim to No. 79 and Kanak is No. 47.
Fans will be excited to see all the rookies in their jerseys, especially since the team rebranded this offseason.
It'll be great to see them don the new uniforms as they suit up for the Titans in 2026. The next era of Titans football is just a few more months away from beginning.
