Safety Amani Hooker clears concussion protocol to bolster a defense desperate to snap a multi-year drought against the Colts and secure Tennessee’s first win of 2026.

Life never gets any easier in the NFL.

After losing to the Houston Texans 26-3, the Tennessee Titans shift focus to the Indianapolis Colts.

Sunday will be the Titans' second consecutive divisional game. The Titans have not beaten the Texans since 2024.

The Titans hold an even worse losing streak to the Colts. The Titans last beat the Colts in 2022. Ryan Tannehill and Matt Ryan started that game.

Aside from chasing their first win of 2026, the Titans face a losing streak against the Colts.

The good news for the Titans is that only two players were listed as out on the injury report on Friday.

Arguably the best news that the Titans got was on Amani Hooker. He sustained a concussion from the Baltimore Ravens game a couple weeks ago and needed to clear protocol.

He missed the previous game with the Texans. Tony Adams, who is already familiar with Robert Saleh from their time at the New York Jets, started in Hooker's place.

Hooker was able to clear concussion protocol and is good to go.

Cor'Dale Flott (chest), John Franklin-Myers (NIR-rest), Marcus Harris (ankle), David Martin-Robinson (hamstring), and Tony Pollard (NIR-rest) did not carry injury designations.

Tyjae Spears (knee) and Joshua Williams (pec) were the only questionable players. Spears was only a full participant at practice one day this week. Spears has played in every game so far this season.

The good news is that he's appeared on the injury report for the last few weeks as questionable and been cleared every time. Hopefully, Spears continues that trend this weekend.

Williams still has to be elevated to the active roster from the PUP list. He's been out since the end of the preseason. His 21-day practice window has opened, so we'll see if he finally returns.

Robert Saleh said that Williams was trending in the right direction, but his status for Sunday remained uncertain.

The Titans will be without Kevin Winston Jr. (quad) and Jordan Elliott (personal). All we know about Elliott is that he's dealing with a personal issue and won't be traveling with the team to Indianapolis.

Winston sustained his injury in the Texans game. It seems that the Titans can't get both starting safeties back, just one.

The Colts will be missing linebacker Jaylon Carlies and wide receiver Ashton Dulin. Tight ends Will Mallory and Tyler Warren are both questionable for the game.

This will be the Titans' first divisional road test in 2026. Kickoff is set for noon CT on Fox as the Titans and Colts meet at Lucas Oil Stadium.
