Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy quieted all of the haters on Sunday when he led the team to a shutout victory over the Commanders. In McCarthy’s return, he recorded 163 passing yards, three touchdown and most importantly, zero turnovers.

Sunday marked the first time in JJ McCarthy’s young career where he did not commit a turnover. Not only did this game give the Vikings hope in their young quarterback, but it could also give JJ McCarthy confidence in himself moving forward. He will be facing another big test next week when the Vikings take on the Cowboys.
