Vikings and Carson Wentz make huge statement

Sunday’s game didn’t go quite as expected, but it still ended in a huge victory over the Packers.

All eyes were on new quarterback Kyler Murray, but after suffering a concussion, it was Carson Wentz that helped lead the Vikings to victory. Wentz showed exactly why he was named QB2 over JJ McCarthy.

Things didn’t look great to start, as Green Bay jumped out to an early lead. But thanks to 3 touchdown passes by Wentz, as well as some athletic plays by Justin Jefferson, Minnesota begins the season 1-0.
