The Vikings finished their regular season with a 16-3 victory over the Green Bay Packers. Their season ended with a 9-8 record, leaving fans with a lot of “what ifs”. The season has been frustrating for many reasons, but the injuries to J.J. McCarthy were just too much for the Vikings to overcome.

Sunday was just another setback for McCarthy, who had to check himself out of the game due to a re-aggravation of his hand injury. The second year player deserves a lot of credit for fighting through the pain to finish the season, despite missing the playoffs.
