Between being already eliminated from NFC Playoff contention and a number of key injuries, the Minnesota Vikings haven't had much to celebrate this season.
They did just beat the New York Giants yesterday by a final score of 16-13, but then lost starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy in the first half to a right hand injury. Backup quarterback Max Brosmer took over for McCarthy and finished the game.
That's just another unfortunate situation on top of a season's worth of situations for McCarthy and the Vikings.
It appears that Brosmer could be in line to start their Christmas Day game against the Detroit Lions if McCarthy isn't good to go.
