The Vikings came out of the Big Apple on Sunday winning their third game in a row 16-13. Despite the win, the Vikings look like they could be without their starting quarterback again as J.J. McCarthy was forced to leave this game early because of an injury to his throwing hand.
Unfortunately for McCarthy, injuries have been a storyline thus far in his career. X-rays following the game came back negative, but it is unclear at this point if the quarterback will be able to play in the Vikings’ remaining games. With nothing to play for this season, it will be interesting to see if the coaching staff would even allow him to play through the injury.
