

Minnesota Vikings' defensive coordinator Brian Flores has been nominated for AP Assistant Coach of the Year.
He's competing with with Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels for this year's award.
Flores led the Vikings' defensive unit to being the third-best total defense (282.6 yards/game), as well as the seventh-best scoring defense (19.6 points/game).
