With news coming out that the Vikings have informed Aaron Jones that he would be released if the team cannot find a trade for him, all eyes are on the draft as a potential replacement at running back. 

One draft prospect to keep an eye on is Nebraska running back Emmett Johnson. 

Johnson spoke about the Vikings, saying, “hey, man, it would mean a lot. I grew up in the inner city. I lived about 10-15 minutes from U.S. Bank Stadium. I had a great formal meeting with them and O’Connell. I would love to go back home.”
