With uncertainty surrounding the Vikings and their quarterback situation, one interesting name to consider is Derek Carr. The idea comes after Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that the former Raiders quarterback is considering coming out of retirement. 

Rumors have been circulating since the end of the season that the Vikings were considering bringing in a veteran quarterback. While it remains to be seen what a move would mean for current starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, one would question the Vikings trust in the young player.
