According to the Minnesota Vikings official X account, kicker Will Reichard has already made NFL history this season by securing his fourth 59+ yard field goal of the season last Sunday against the Green Bay Packers in a 23-6 loss.

Covered by the VIkings Wire, the 59-yarder made him the first kicker in NFL history to make four field goals of 59-plus yards in the same season.

Sitting down with Vikings on-air talent Tatum Everett, Reichard opened up about how this turbulent 4-7 Vikings season has gone for him individually. "Losing is always going to suck, but it was a little bit of a bright spot," mentioned Reichard.

Being asked about his mental preparation for long distance kicks, Reichard said that he just "trusts the preparation" displayed in practice during the lead up week(s).

They key for Reichard also is him not creating "bad habits" by trying too hard for only the farthest of kicks, opting rather to maintain normal situational distances and just estimated how much more he has to put on the attempt to make the football travel the distance needed.

Is Reichard already one of the best kickers in the NFL? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
